Thank you! I figured but wanted to be sure, and even if it was young at most I would have waited for the parents to leave and put it in the nest or just watched for predators!
Saw this baby fly out of a nest while feeding my chickens, more like fall but glide, I didn’t touch it and tried not to stress it out but I don’t know much about wild birds and want to know if it’s too young to be out of the nest the parents seem to be “panicking” and one has a worm in its beak...
You would probably have best luck if she was broody (from what I’ve seen, I have no 1st hand experience but have researched quite a bit) I’ve seen lots of people put them under a broody hen during the night
Easter egged or a mystery breed that I can’t think of lol for some reason I have a feeling I’ve seen one like it before that wasn’t an EE but maybe it was? But it does sorta look like EAster egger
Hmm well now I’m thinking if I should keep Serena’s or silkies lol I mean seramas are very difficult to find in my area silllies I know where I could get them and I’ve always wanted them but I’m just thinking, no plans yet
I’m not sure if they have game breeds.. I know they have brahmas and barred rocks, speckled Sussex, ahh I can’t remember any more! I know they have Dominique’s but I don’t think the mother is any of those.. they have a lot more just can’t remember
Don’t mind the dog bowl in the back :p we have a bigger waterer just haven’t taken the older one out, (they are newer chickens and we had to get another waterer so just until we got it we used that)
