    I hatched these cuties in my hovabator for my fifth graders ( remotely if course!). I'm hoping to add some girls to my own flock. . They hatched May 20th, so they are almost a month old..I know it's early.. but I'm anxious!! What do you think? I'll post what I think too! I have one buff...

    Roo NOT well...

    I would definitely get him isolated from the others and start him on an antibiotic....just put it in his water....Hope he gets better and everyone else stays well!

    Anybody knows what this might be on my chicken? An abcess???

    II was kind of thinking the same thing, I am going to start her on something, but what antibiotic should I use with her? I know we've used teramyacin before..just wonder if that would work for this??

    almost like a nasty zit....wasn't any warmer than the comb..and like I said, no other symptoms

    Other than the "lump" on her "cheek" this hamburg hen is eating/laying fine. She isn't raspy or having difficulty breathing and there aren't any other symptoms. Should I be worried?? Should I be treating her with something? If I should be treating her, what should I treat her with?? Thanks...

    One more quick question...If we use the Severin dust (5%) will that get the lice ?? I know it's used for mites and other pests...will our eggs be okay??? Should we pitch the eggs?? Thanks for your help!
