They were put together early summer. Usually the young 1's follow the older 1's in, but not this year. They are staying on the perches in their enclosed outdoor area.
So I got a new flock of 8 chickens to add to my flock of 9. The new flock seems to refuse to go indoors at night. Winter is coming and they are still staying out of the coup. I live in Michigan and need some help. How do I get them to go in at night?

UPDATE:Since I've installed my spider Web and CD's I haven't had 1 attempt from the hawks. I even recently had a hawk in 1 of the trees above my girls. It just sat their for a bit staring at my girls and then just flew off. I've had a few circle but no attacks!

Update:Since I've put up the spider Web of string and the Cd's I'm HAPPY to report not 1 Hawk attack. They don't even fly over anymore. I think my experiment was a success!!!!
