I hand raise a select few for pets/ breeders they get 100% affection and love, it's a fun but s slight hassles as they now are following me anywhere, I forgot about them in the yard yesterday when I took my dog on a needed jog, 3 houses away I look back and my two midget whites were following... -

I really like your boxes , I first started with silkies a in my newest coop but added the turkeys, then like turkeys they started to destroy the small weak boxes . :( But it's a good thing as there old wood ply wood poop soaked and ready to get taken down . So my idea is to build extra big... -

I am unsure the regulations on importing them , and also I don't want to support people who sell wild eggs , tho I would enjoy helping a farmer in America. As the back yard dream is a large flock of Shetland ducks in my pond and lesser rheas running around my orchard ..- sd-eddie

Shetland Ducks
My little Shetland flock in San Diego, Things that are different , they grow much slower then Pekin ,much smaller then pekin, also I am going to be letting my Shetland flock into my garden, I'm hoping that they won't jump or fly up into the raised bed gardens, but instead eat the ground weeds... -

I also am looking for lesser or Darwin rheas .. Got the run set up , but the seller I was waiting for had issues with there eggs , kinda glad I offered to pay more if they would incubate and hatch . Midget White owners -- opinion on hatchery sources?
More of a crack on the top breek , tho it's looks like it's healing , and I asked about antibiotics, because I like to keep stuff on hand ready to use if needed. And read about chicken antibiotics are bad for turkeys . -

How common is it for young turkeys to break the tip of threre beak ? I got one less then 3 month old midget my best guess it's got it's beak stuck in chicken wire or fighting? I guess the question is this common with turkeys in cages? And will it grow back, and what antibiotics are safe... -

They really don't need the pond , and it's kinda less mud/mess if they don't use the pond. I only put one out for 2-3 days twice a month.. Also if it's a real pond your going to need a very over sized pre filter before your main filter, and uv filter to keep the water from going bad.. And...
