I can't wait until our chicks mature so that I can submit pictures.
Dad, I think is an Easter Egger, or Americaunus...
RI Red and Buff Orpington moms.
Brooded by two of our Easter Eggers.

Couldn't wait to post pics either: )
This is a young blue wyanndotte barnevelder mix. Most of the others are just black from their combs to their feet. This little guy has all pink feet and a pink beak that just started turning black. His fluff was black with blonde red patches all over. He's got gold lacing on his wings and speckled gold down his back. The breast feathers are just coming in with white stripes. Will post more when he/she grows up

I am surprised how many variations there was in color and size.. the birds will all be heading to the freezer in 6-9 months or sold before . I Rather focus on improving my pure breed line of Shetland ducks and midget whites as I am still trying to fase out the Pekin and blue Swedish duck and Narragansetts .

Back story .:drool
Well the Narragansett Tom got down right Greek on my little midget whites and these pictures are the resulted affects .

My questions
Has any one had the same cross and got the same results ?
Do the little turkeys keep they colors or will they change later ?
And what is the shortest time I should wait to butcher , I want the most meat per grain use on these ?

You'll probably get more answers in the turkey section of the forum if you post there. This thread and section of the forum is mostly for chicken people so you probably won't find a lot of turkey people here :)

My mixed breed is a mix of a fawn and white Indian runner drake x Khaki Campbell duck. It is a female and she is currently 2 1/2 months old. She is the grey/brownish one. The white duck is her pekin boyfriend :p

I'm hatching 6 mixed eggies right now! I have 3 Barred Rock x Silver Spangled Hamburg that are pipping as we speak! 1 GIANT egg is Barred Rock x Red sex link (any insight if it will me a sex linked chick???) and 2 little Barred Rock x ...? All of the parents were killed by a dog 3 weeks ago :(

All three BR x SSH eggs hatched! They all look like they will be barred and they all have rose combs! The two mystery BR X ??? eggs hatched as well! I believe they are from my Buff Black tailed Japanese bantam hen so that should be REALLY interesting! They are both completely yellow :)
