So, is there anything I can do? they always fight and the submissive one just lays down and runs from all the chicks. They just step over him and treat him bad.
So, I have 7 chickens: 5 hens and 2 roosters. One rooster likes to assert his dominance over the others and that's whatever. But, I have one rooster. Just to give you a look. He's a white leghorn with a curved comb. He looks pretty funky. Anyway, he always cowers away from the other chickens...
Sadly, she passed. Poor baby, this is my first batch of 8. TSC told me they sometimes won't make it anyways. They say they always come in to passed chickies. I'm very sad about her. It's sometimes not fair what can happen to a poor chickster. Anyway, thank you all for your help. The other 7 are...
It hasn't gotten better, I don't think it poops. But it's booty isn't pasty. I think it might be constipated. I might try mineral oil tomorrow, but I'm getting scared. It almost stops when I pick her up. It makes small peeps and sometimes trills. They seem somewhat forced though, any hints maybe?
I might do that today. I think ill separate her and give her feed and water. Ive only had chicks for 3 days. Most of them are fine. One has a pasty booty but the other ones are in great shape i think. Theyre super happy.
The first day she was fine. Now she chirps nonstop. My sister held her for about 10 minutes the first day. She wouldnt stop xhirping after that. Is she sick or does she just want a mama. She didnt really eat that good or drink well. She is now as ive seen. I dont think her butt is pasty at all...
The first day i got her, she was fine, she ate and drank well. They're about a week and 2 days. These past few days she has done nothing but chirp loudly and stand still. She will only drink or eat if i put her near it. I don't know what to do, I'm very new to this. Please help me!
