    kdbeads what kind of chicken is that? i had the same kind of chick hatch from a sebright egg one time because they were in a growout pen with another kind. i collected the eggs for incubation a little early and hatched what appears to be the same as yours.

    just clip below the quick (live part). if it bleeds use all purpose flour or blood stop to stop the bleeding and will be fine in a few min. Mine bleed sometime but theyve all managed to stay healthy. just dont cut to far up the nail. i use normal nail clippers.
