I have a light Brahma rooster and he is huge! He is a gentle giant though. I will be taking him to auction though as I don't want more Brahma chicks. My Brahma hens took forever to lay compared to my other hens.

Thanks, after looking up some pics, I figured he was an EE. Any idea what sort of color combo I would get with a darker colored EE hen?

I will try tomorrow. He wouldnt sit still and this was the best I could do. Am I right in the color? Blue wheaten?

Anyone have an opinion on this guy? I got him at auction,so no idea if he's an EE or actual Ameracauna. He has a pea comb,muffs and slate legs.

Well my light Brahma "pullet" answered my sex question today. I heard and saw her adolescent "crow" today

OK..so I really looked at the comb and all I can tell is there is for sure 1 row lol. It is pretty wide at the top, could be three rows. As for the hackle feathers? I do know he/she is the only one that raises her neck feathers when bothered. Really thick legs too. I guess I'll know for sure...
