I should have a good hatch rate starting on 29th. Then about 8 days later maybe the Call eggs. Then there is 15 White Marans I got from Oklahoma (to Washington State) Thursday so I put them and 3 more Call eggs in last night. Please Lord make my other Genesis come Monday because right...
id you really get 3 Black Coppers from Donna? How dark were the eggs? I got a batch of Golden Cuckoo Marans eggs from her but only had a crummy old incubator that wasn't holding steady on temp. One golden hatched out but didn't absorb yolk and later died. I have 3 Cuckoos that hatched out fine...
I also go for the hovabator 1588. Loved it so much I just ordered another one several days ago. The temp and humidity has stayed right on the money. I got mine on Ebay for $120. total. then you can get a turner for it with chicken and quail racks for $46. plus shipping. Karen
You are going to love the Genesis. I like mine so well I ran in and ordered another one the other night on the commercial break while watching Survivor. The one I have is full to the brim with 36 Marans eggs and 5 Call duck eggs. Karen

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'm just going to go order me one. There are going to be several different batches of eggs coming and I don't want to try it with only one incubator. I'll probably get one on ebay since I have a $25. ebay giftcard to help defray cost. Karen
Anyone using one, can you tell me how you like it? I have a still air Hova-Bator w/ autoturner now, full of eggs but am seriously on the edge of getting another incubator. Thanks, Karen
I just downloaded an interesting article about not turning eggs at all. It was run in Countryside & Small Stock Journal July 1, 1996 and written by D.L. Salsbury. I do think I'm going to give it a try.Maybe not with the eggs I have coming tomorrow morning, but next batch perhaps. It is worth...
Puyallup here. Have had plenty of chickens, ducks, geese before when I lived in eastern Wa. but no chickens right at the moment. Won't be long. Incubator is on a dry run as we speak. Looks like its holding ok, so will be ready to try hatching something out. Have done that before also, but its...
