Hand warmers... is it hard to regulate temps that way?

Hey all, Im on my second hatch ever, Im 17 days in. My first hatch wasn't great, but I've tightened up my temp swings with a thermostat and I think I've really set myself up for a great hatch... knock on wood! Here's my problem, we just got a letter in the mail from the electrical company...

Going to try without a thermostat this first go around and the hygrometer reading is on the thermometer. I actually got some more exotic breed eggs from a member on here, not my own stock. Here's hoping everything goes well :)

If you like the aesthetics of that structure for your coop, I say go for it. Adding more run length (either to one side, both sides, or the back) seems fairly straight forward and customizable. If space is a concern, why not start with just half of your flock in there and see how it goes, then...
