One chicken with mushy yellow poop, no sign of worms. Help!

@aart She was on just fresh water before she started acting funny. @Wyorp Rock She has been on kalmback flock maker 20% since hatching. I rarely give dried soldier fly larvae or meal worms. Sometimes I’ll give small amounts of spinach, carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, or apples. Not more than once...

One chicken with mushy yellow poop, no sign of worms. Help!

    1) Deathlayer, 15 weeks old and maybe 2 lbs. She seems very thin. 2) She is laying down a lot. She does still get up to eat, drink, and roost, but her tail and wings are droopy and when she walks she seems really weak. 3) The drooping and laying around have only been happening a couple of...

Insulating the ceiling of my coop?

Thanks everyone! It has a ridge vent all the way across the top but I think the guys that built it did it wrong. We need to cut away some of the middle of the top boards and then it should circulate really well. I have the blankets over big cracks because it gets pretty drafty and cold right at...

Insulating the ceiling of my coop?

My coop has a metal roof with one panel of opaque plastic sheeting to let in light during the day. In the inside there’s currently a layer of vapor barrier. It’s supposed to get down in the teens and even down to ten in the next few days and I’m nervous it won’t stay warm enough in there. The...

What’s wrong with my baby?! 😥

Thank you all so much for your love and support! It was a brand new incubator and I disinfected it anyway just to be extra safe. Thankfully the other two are now over a week old and doing great! ❤️ Sad that I lost the one but learning a lot from the experience! I have 12 more eggs in a new...

What’s wrong with my baby?! 😥

Yes, kind of but more frequent and she’s just kind of laying there.

What’s wrong with my baby?! 😥

My one day old Mille Fleur is super tiny. She struggled during the hatch and took forever to unzip. When she came out a teeny tiny bit of yolk was still left and her cord was still attached. She fluffed up and seemed ok so we put her in the brooder with the other two. Now she’s making this weird...

    Detached Air Cell Care

Three hatched and the one I was worried about was dead when we candled it. But just under 50% is pretty standard for shipped eggs. I'm a little sad that we lost any but happy that some survived! I've learned a TON! Getting my next dozen eggs to incubate tomorrow! Lol! I might be hooked... I'm...

    Detached Air Cell Care

I've made sure they stay right around 70%. It shot up to 80 for a few minutes when the first one hatched but it's back down now. Do you think that's too high or should it be ok? They're both definitely still moving around in there.

    Detached Air Cell Care

Thank you so much for being my involuntary emotional support group through this!!! Lol! 😂 It's so hard to feel so little control. I want with everything in my being for every single one of them to live but I know that just isn't how it works. 😥 All we can do is try to give them the best shot...

    Detached Air Cell Care

We have a fully hatched and apparently healthy little Rhode Island Red!!!! 😍😍😍 The other two that have pipped have not made much progress but are still moving around in there so I think they’re ok. Waiting impatiently for the next baby to hatch!!! Super anxious!!!!
