    Definitely ayam cemani. Not a spec if white anywhere and the feathers have a purple and green sheen.

    This is an ayam cemani chicken, so it's even more difficult to tell as all the chicken including comb are black. I've been scratching my head over this for a while. There's also zero spur growth and no wattles developing as of yet.

    This is our chicken Blue. We were told he was male. At 5 months old we're failing to see any male characteristics. He also doesn't crow. The only sound he seems to have made alongside his unusual chirps can only be described as the egg laying song. Any other opinions on gender welcomed. Kate.
