Any ideas? Ayam Cemani

This is our chicken Blue. We were told he was male. At 5 months old we're failing to see any male characteristics. He also doesn't crow. The only sound he seems to have made alongside his unusual chirps can only be described as the egg laying song.
Any other opinions on gender welcomed.

You’re welcome. No redness in the comb, and no starting of saddle-Feathers at 5 months, is a great indication of a pullet

This is an ayam cemani chicken, so it's even more difficult to tell as all the chicken including comb are black. I've been scratching my head over this for a while. There's also zero spur growth and no wattles developing as of yet.
