    Stick and ad up on craigslist or post something at your local feed store. You might find someone with an incubator going that would be willing to hatch for you. I hatch in my area for people all the time. I charge $1 an egg and nothing for a dud if my bator is already going.

    something attacked my duck! HELP

    We had 4 chickens attacked by our Boxer and they pulled out just fine. They acted funny for a day or so like you described but then began to act normal. We did similar things like triple anti and also peroxide. They are just fine and now it has been 3 weeks. Good luck and Homeschool moms rock!

    Thanks for all the support for a newbie! Actually I am getting a good response. Maybe the reason is that many mail order hatcheries require you to wait at least a month and many don't have female RIR available now.
