I got a beautiful Indian fantail at the feed store yesterday. Her tail has been cut off. I read that it can be done for breeding. She is favoring one foot when she is made to walk. Other than that she just sits there. She won't eat or drink. I am keeping her in the house for now. Any suggestions?
I have a little Serama that I bought a couple months ago. She is supposedly a year old and has never lived outside. So she has had a cage in the living room. I let her roam around the house. But he is pooping everywhere. I got her a diaper. She hates it of course. I want to put her outssie with...
Not totally sure on the breeds. Just guessng. No picture of my new guy. Looks like the trumpeter but smaller feathers on feet. He's black and white. Any idea what these are and the sex?
I got 5 pigeons about a month ago. I have two trumpeters, a fantail and probably two homers. One is gray with a very long beak. I think he's a homer. Not sure. They are in a coop with a frizzle serama roo and a serama hen. They have an attachment to the coop, so they can fly out and sit on...

I got a beautiful silkie hen that I named Daisy. I kept her inside for a week to try to get my little roo to figure out he's a chicken. He has lived inside for 8 months until he started crowing. Long story... Wanted him to have a buddy to go outside with. Well he attacked her and wouldn't stop...
I found my beautiful Silver laced wyandotte dead in the coop. Her head looked like it was trampled. She was my biggest chicken, so I don't think anyone killed her. She was about 9 months old. What could have happened? Do chickens just suddenly die?
I have a rooster that was hatched in May. He was the only chick that hatched in my bator out of a dozen eggs. That is always my luck. He has lived inside ever since. He would fall asleep in my hair and loves people. We called him Maizy until he started to crow. I was pretty upset when I found...
