I have a little Serama that I bought a couple months ago. She is supposedly a year old and has never lived outside. So she has had a cage in the living room. I let her roam around the house. But he is pooping everywhere. I got her a diaper. She hates it of course. I want to put her outssie with the other two. Is it too cold? It gets about 40 at night. It's been about 50 to 65 during the day. I thik she would be happier out there.

I haven't owned them yet, I'm not sure why they say they can't handle the cold, people say the same about silkies and frizzles and mine have always been able to handle the cold. Chickens are happier outside being a chicken. You do have to be careful of transiting from house temperatures to outside temperatures, that's why acclimating is so important. I would start by putting it out during the day in a draft free sunny area, bringing it in at night for a few weeks than just leave it out.
