Thanks for the response!
Couldn’t see anything in her mouth. Crop feels ok. I brought her in for a while so I could watch her, she gobbled up mealworms and hard boiled eggs.
The only thing she’s doing is the very occasional head shake, but not seeing any nasal discharge, bubbles, cough...
I’m stumped.
This morning I noticed an area on the poop board that looked strange. I have a camera so I know which chicken it came from and that it likely had to come from her mouth from the direction she sleeps on the roost.
It looks like blood tinged oral secretions. I put some peroxide on...
Anyone have experience with Scratch & Peck grower crumbles?
I’ve been fermenting the S&P grower mash for a couple of months, offering alongside Purina Flock Raiser crumbles. Decided to try S&P crumbles and chickens wouldn’t touch it. Looked at the bag and it was 1 month past its best buy date...
Wondering since this thread was started a while back, some of the original posters might be able to give us an update?

The next day after I posted this, she looked a lot worse, I decided to go ahead and treat for possible mites with permethrin and she’s actually looking better, her neck feathers are coming in, her poor little face is finally starting to get...
My 3 week old BO has bald spots/feather loss to her face. I just reviewed pics and videos since day 1, and it looks like around 3-4 days old it becomes noticeable. Initially I didn’t think she scratched at her face that much, but after going back and watching videos, she actually does seem to...
