Hey ya'll, we're looking to rehome our awesome cockerel "Bambam" if there's anyone that has a flock he can call his own and not end up in the pot :hit
He's just so noisy in the morning so we worry about him disturbing the neighbors
He's a bantam mille fleur d'uccle, and we know he's just a...
But I see now how this stuff reallyy EXPANDS. Kinda spooky, cause i have one "special" hen in particular who is actually a bit retarded from hatching from a huge saddlebag air cell egg.. and she's definitely eating this stuff the most lol
Yeah they're not eating like a whole BUNCH but kinda just snacking I guess lol D: Yup plenty of grit, thank you for the reassurance ^-^ Hoping theyll be oki
So we just spread out some pine pellets in a few little areas to fill in and soak up water from all this constant rain after seeing recommendations, but some of the chickens/chicks are eating the stuff -__- Should I be concerned? I guess it does resemble their feed almost identically :/
Our little cockerel Bambam is instantly a fan of spa days and already feeling better. Just the right water temp + dimmed lights...
"if only you knew bad things really are"
So today I see some PINK in it's comb, already  I don't know how old exactly she/he actually is, because the breeder didn't know exactly either lmao- but yeah around a month. What do y'all think..still too early to tell hopefully?
Thanks so much. Also OH that's totally what it is- the feather follicles :O On some of the foot feathers I can see that its really red at the root where it connects to the skin, almost looks like tinyy bit of bleeding. Ill do that tytyty
Just noticed both our orpingtons have it on both their feet, so we applied this https://www.amazon.com/Forticept-Antimicrobial-Antiseptic-Infections-Scratches/dp/B07JC2T1Z1/ and wrapped- will this be good enough or does it look like they need more/different treatment? I'm not experienced and...
Lol so we're rehoming our little 7 month old cockerel bantam D'uccle (due to crowing, dont want to disturb neighbors) and he's the sweetest lady's man. (prepares nests for them, joins them in egg song, tidbits like crazy 😭) I'm just curious how that would even go lmao.
The new home free ranges...
And congrats to...

With their capture of a carefree curious chicken on a cozy sunny day
This chicken appears to be first in line at the fair's new "Chick-fil-a" concession stand, eagerly waiting for the window to open up to customers. Unsure and skeptical about the name- she...
