one of my Hens we're being plucked from one of my other chickens and her father's been growing back but one of the ones on her throat seem to have an ingrown feather what do I do about it

I hope so too, and I can never turn a blind eye to animals in need. I found a wild turkey that mauled by a dog and I brought it home and healed him up and he's back out free
Thank you for the info, I always worm any chickens I get before introducing them into my flock. I don't believe they had a good life where they were. They may be overly hungry and just gorged them selves
So I have a neighbors who have trash on their property and the city won't do anything about it. Raccoons are attracted to it and wander to my property. How can I protect my chickens? I already have a metal coop but anything else!? I don't have a gun or I'd shoot them but I'd rather keep them off...
