    thanks for the reply.... the humane society took him. because he was "abandoned", she said they had to. must be a NC law. anyway, hopefully things will work out for him.

    So, we have worms.... I have wormed before based on the info here but, I have forgotten and can not find the dosage info. I have Wazine17 and Ivermectin pour on for cattle (5mg per mL). Wazine 1st according to directions. ( just read to worm every 30 days to break round worm cycle. really?)...

    thanks for the tips y'all! she did get up and we collected the egg she had plus the others that had been laid by the hen's that waited for me to separate the box. and the golf ball! and yes she did scream and peck at me when i got near her and threatened any other hen that came near. so...
