Cool thanks everybody! :D Although, shortgrass, the hen next to her is an Appenzeller Spitzhauben! According to Wikipedia, they are rare in the USA and not actually recognised as an official breed?? :(- SquishyPandas

What breed is this hen? (PICS)
Does anybody know the breed of the hen on the right, with less markings? If she is mixed, any ideas on what with? Also sorry for posting twice, but I thought it might be helpful to get some pictures...- SquishyPandas

Any ideas on the breed of this hen?
I picked her up 2 days ago and she's around 5 months old at the moment. She is primarily white, with a few large-ish black markings on her back. Her comb is very small and pale and she has blue earlobes! No feathers at all on her legs, which are grey coloured. Thank you! :cd- SquishyPandas

Problem with New Coop and New Chickens
Yikes, a racoon?? We don't really get anything like that where I live. We had trouble from a fox a while back, but haven't seen it for years. Now I understand your concern for wanting them to be locked in safely at night though!!! I guess you'll have to wait for it to get cooler and/or look...- SquishyPandas
