Yes I agree they are not cheap! The motor cover definitely helps, also not cheap but if it helps save the mothor definitely worth it. One thing that would be really useful would be some soert of handle for when you lift the cover. I always felt like I was going to lose my grip and drop it on...- Sstuder

FYI: I don’t know if you are aware but you can get some “dividers”, “raisers” and other accessories for The Maticoopx and other incubators on Etsy. Not cheap but useful. I ended up using the raisers and the cover for the motor. I think they work well. For keeping the eggs upright I just...- Sstuder
