Just had a possum grab 3 of my baby chicks last night.. ugggh! Ate right through the wire. They are ruthless! Opossums are really bad here. Hoping the 3 chicks i have left will recover from all the shock. What a mess I woke up to at 4a.m

I've used zip ties they work wonders! I'm actually doing the same thing lol. I did it previously with an old swing set frame. Works like a charm!
