Lay them on their side, keep their beak pointed: you draw a line in the dirt and make sure they can see it. Then they just lay there for a while even after you let go. But you have to make sure their head stays down and beak is pointed.

Ever heard of feather sexing? You do it right directly after they hatch, look at their wings. If you're interested, google, cuz I don't remember how XD

The only problem with hay and straw is that it's a great home for mites and lice! AHHH! lol. I just sprayed my coop for mites and the next day FINALLY got an egg. YUSS
VACCINES are completely natural. They are a weak or dead germ injected into the body so that the antibodies can be prepared if a stronger form of it comes along. Some people don't believe in vaccines because
A. They thinks it's an antibiotic
B. The vaccine could be too strong and actually infect...
My little ones are 7 months old, and they live happily with my two year olds. No eggs yet and they're still realllllllly small! A couple have already died because they're just SO small and it got far below freezing.

Sorry I have loved every rooster I've ever had, but if I ever go to a friend's house or somewhere else, the roosters will ATTACK ME OMG I HATE THEM. So if any of yours attack you it's time for some rotisserie or something. (lol i'm a vegetarian) XD
