I have seven laying hens that need a new home. They are all right about a year old and are good layers. One of them lays a brown egg. One lays a giant white egg. The rest are all just normal white egg layers.

Yes, this is new in the box, never opened, and the box has no damage either. I ordered it and thought perhaps I would try it out but then ended up getting chicks at an auction and now all I have is hens. I don't have an interest of purchasing fertile eggs now and it is taking up space...
mikarod, thanks for posting the photo - that is a gorgeous hen.
Red comb ... I don't know, I could try and check.
Guess I will have to rename her. And a hen is good. No complaints.
Initially I thought this chicken was a rooster. I got him (?) and his sister as chicks and posted up photos of them as little guys to this board to ask about gender. Everyone agreed that the dark one was a rooster and the white one a hen. Well Now he is all grown up and I have 10 chickens total...
I have a partridge cochin cockerel for sale $10. I am in Walla Walla but could transport to Portland, OR the weekend of the 16th. This young roo came from Duane Urch.
Does anyone know how long they live? I pet sit for one and she is nasty, she hates everyone except her one owner. She is a house pig and they have had her 11 years.
