    I usually refer to them as pullets before their combs start growing out. You know the stage, massive body, small head.

    Things are always scaring the chickens. It's nothing to be alarmed about, it doesn't even necessarily have to be a predator. Sometimes they stand still and listen when the neighbour starts his lawn mower.

    Paid to go to school! Sweet. I'd love that. I'm going to have to start thinking about this soon though, the money I have now isn't going to support me for much longer.

    Thanks. I know I haven't updated this for a long time. I haven't had much success in finding another job yet. But I've put what money I am getting into a high-interest account, so I've been building up a bit over the months.

    Somedays, I have a very hard time finding this one thing, it's just one long chain of failures and wanting to be somewhere else.

    I have been looking for a job for a few months now, with no success. I am going to see the owner of a small restaurant in the city soon. I'm not really expecting to get the job, seeing as most of my other applications have been rejected... But it's still exciting to get past stage one of job...

    Well today, I saw an old friend again after she'd been away for a little while. But things started to go wrong between us soon afterwards, so I don't think that counts. I might be getting a job though, so that IS something I can look forward to.
