I have been looking for a job for a few months now, with no success.

I am going to see the owner of a small restaurant in the city soon.
I'm not really expecting to get the job, seeing as most of my other applications have been rejected...

But it's still exciting to get past stage one of job hunting.

I did not get the job.

Why am I telling this to you all anyway? lol, I barely know you.
But whatever, sometimes it's good being anonymous. You can tell I would never survive being a celebrity.

I know I haven't updated this for a long time.
I haven't had much success in finding another job yet. But I've put what money I am getting into a high-interest account, so I've been building up a bit over the months.

don't feel bad after i got off active duty army it took almost a year to get a job. I applied everywhere except fast food. Then after a year started the job started going down hill. So i moved back to my old town and get paid to go to school thanks to my g.i. bill. And thats how i got started with chickens yaay.

Paid to go to school! Sweet. I'd love that. I'm going to have to start thinking about this soon though, the money I have now isn't going to support me for much longer.

Keep plucking away at looking for a job. It took me about 6 months to find something. After months of nothing, in January I got 4 good leads. 2 of them led to offers. Whatever happens, you'll feel when it is right. For the job I accepted, I felt it after hanging up on the first phone interview I had with them. It went really well, and sure enough, after another phone interview and a site visit later, I got an offer....they didn't even ask for references.

cheers!
