    Brahma variety identification

I've had no clue that there were like official colours for brahmas, I mean makes sense I'm just dumb, anyways so I know these aren't any of the official colours but does anyone know if they're a variety? Only one of their 3 chicks resembles the "gold" hen the other 2 have black and gold wings...

Checking-In On Peeps - Post Here To Say Hello!

I've been pretty busy with work lately. About 6 months ago I bought a trio of brahmas and they've quickly grown to be my favourite breed. Probably because they're giant teddy bears. Currently got 3 of their chicks growing excited to see what they'll turn out to look like. 3 miniature teddies...

Sexing the Brahma breed, (standard size, Light Brahma)

I wanted to ask if you're still breeding them? I've hatched 3 chicks, 2 of which currently have no visible feathers and the other with small wing feathers. I know with pekins that the females grow their feathers alot faster than males. Would you say this is true for brahmas aswell? I really...

Leghorn hen x Ameraucana roo will straight combed offspring lay colored eggs??

In my experience all my pea combs lay green, blue or olive, and all my straight combed hens lay, white, brown, or cream. My crosses are peakin x araucana and this is true to all of them. I have 3 leghorn x araucana but they all have pea combs and lay blue to olive eggs

    Trying something new

The white ones feet are orange, it's just the lighting, and the darker one has black and orange feet. The roo with them is the father. The white roo is really huge, and now that I look at him, he doesn't really resemble a wellie.

    Trying something new

I've bred a golden welsummer roo to white leghorns, one of the offspring looks just like a welsummer hen but white, and has a smaller comb. The other also looks like a welsummer, aswell as having the colours of a golden welsummer hen, but a smaller comb too. Their brother is basically a big...

    Hen looks like she's choking

Her crop is normal, like the rest of the flock. But she doesn't twist her neck anymore than usual.

    Hen looks like she's choking

I'm not sure what's wrong with our hen, but she puts her neck up in the air, breathes through her mouth and then screams. It's been going on for about 15 minutes, can anyone help? I can't see anything in her throat and her abdomen feels normal, plus can't smell anything from her mouth
