I've bred a golden welsummer roo to white leghorns, one of the offspring looks just like a welsummer hen but white, and has a smaller comb. The other also looks like a welsummer, aswell as having the colours of a golden welsummer hen, but a smaller comb too. Their brother is basically a big white welsummer with brown saddle feathers.
Would it be better to breed them to the father or their brother? The white pullet lays white eggs and the dark one lays brown eggs. I have other welsummers aswell but I want to try and get white ones by trying new things, just for me not intending to show them or anything. Thought it would be a cool project to try and get white ones to look similar to the welsummers
