    Thanks. She is a sweet snuggly fluffy butt. She and I had a special bond and I miss her very much. But I know she will be much happier with other ducks to snuggle with. Ducks need a flock. My muscovy had my respect, the pekin had my heart.

    What do you want to know about them? Are you thinking about them as pets, layers, meat? I can tell you that mine is loud and messy and I love her more than I ever thought I would love a bird.

    Mine does the same thing. She wants nothing to do with a clean pond but if there is a tiny mud puddle in the yard she will find it. She only wants to bathe in dirty water....darn dirty duck

    Mine go in at dusk. They go and wait for us to close the gate. The pekin stands guard at the gate until we come tuck them in. We have solar lights and the ducks seem to go in when the lights turn on no matter what time that may be.

    Am I Safe To Assume She's Gone Broody Yet?
