inexpensive egg candling light
This looks like It would work great. I do not incubate often so the past few years I've been trying to use different homemade candlers. The trouble I've been having is candling dark shells like brown eggs and easter egger colored eggs. I'm going to try one of these! -

I have 3 guard donkeys and they typically do a great job keeping dogs and coyotes off the property. One thing to be aware of if they see you with your own dog a lot they will only chase her off if she is chasing them. -

My dog, the egg gatherer
I have a white German Sheperd who brings me all the eggs she finds laid haphazardly around the farm. Unfortunately, she also brings me my Cotton Patch Goose eggs that she takes from my goose nest which is a large dog house (now Goose House). She never breaks an egg but I can't break her of this...- SunnyD

"Land Geese"
My pond is about 2 acres and the 2 Cotton Patch Geese and 3 Peking ducks could see it clearly from there little pool (actually a stock tank.) Then when they were about a year old, they finally I came outside one day when they were all about a year old and they were all in the pond!
