inexpensive egg candling light

battery powered undercabinet lights are great for candling eggs! I used one called "utilitech led undercabinet light", they only cost about $10.00 at lowe's or home depot. just place the egg on the oval-shaped place where the light comes out. it has a magnetic stand so it will not fall over. here are photos.

I was not sure where to post this, but I thought I would do it in the duck forum since I only have tried this on duck eggs.

This looks like It would work great. I do not incubate often so the past few years I've been trying to use different homemade candlers. The trouble I've been having is candling dark shells like brown eggs and easter egger colored eggs. I'm going to try one of these!
