    How old will chickens on average lay till?

    Wow still laying after 6 years that is great! I have only been raising chickens for three years now and thought they only layed well for two years.

    My poor yard!

    I have about 8 different holes in my yard as well. Cant do anything about it just use some chicken fencing and keep them in an area you dont care about. They just love to dig holes and do their dust baths and keep cool in the summer.

    Also even though I live in a rural area neighbors are pretty close and hate that I have chickens since they dont believe in having them. So I am even more aware of any smell that may travel over to their yards.
