I did not have them separated. Will try a second attempt and separate than from the flock.
They did not hatch early, right on time.

I used this last year with my 4 chickens. It worked well, but be prepared to clean it out every day. They do scratch odds and ends into the bowl. I set mine up on a few bricks and that did help a bit.
