    "Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Hey y'all! Remember me? I've been MIA for a couple months because I had a little baby girl January 5th, and have been pretty busy. Things are leveling out now, though, and I have 50+ BCM and a few silkie eggs in the incubator. Here's hoping for a good hatch!

Quote: Sounds like they're in the same bind I was in. I did get rid of three, so that's pretty awesome. Now I have 3 roos and 2 hens.

Hey y'all! Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Honestly, I spend zero time dealing with my chickens right now. My husband and kids took over duties during my pregnancy, but I'll be back to it soon. However, mine is nothing compared to what you guys have going on. I have about 30-ish...

Perolane-Your avatar is adorable! Merry Christmas, everyone! (Or, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, whatever you're in to). I'm getting ready-boiling some of my girl's eggs as we speak for gumbo and potato salad. Yum. I sold 3 of my roosters this morning, along with the two chicks I had. Very happy...

    Silkie thread!

I posted this on the gender board, but thought I'd get some insight here as well. I just want to be sure all these birds are roos. They're about 9 months old. Pretty sure these are all roosters, but can someone please confirm? My husband is worried that one of the cuckoos may be a...

    Silkies, all roosters?

Pretty sure these are all roosters, but can someone please confirm? My husband is worried that one of the cuckoos may be a hen, but I don't think so. (I'm selling these as roos)

I got my oldest to help me sort out the roosters I'm trying to get rid of so I could get some pics. I have someone coming to pick up the blue/grey one Friday, and I'm hoping she takes more, but here they are. I have two more, but I'm keeping them. And, here's the mean one:

Oh, yay! A lady that bought chicks from me a few weeks ago just called and is coming to get at least one of the little Roos this Friday. I feel better.
