Sorry just got to this. They didn't X-ray (wonder why not?) it's been over a week and the dose of antibiotics is over. Ella seems better but I'm not sure if she's out of it.
We took her to emergency (that's another story - had to drive 60 miles). The vet couldn't determine for sure whether it is cancer or eggbound. She's on antibiotics etc and looks a tad bit better but can't say if she'll recover.
I think I felt an egg. Did warm bath for 15 mins and also calcium and electrolytes via a dropper. Put her back in the nesting area with towels. Trying to get a vet but no ones takes chickens arnd here :(
Hoping it is eggbinding and she's able to lay.

Our 3 yr old golden sexlink appears sick. Drooping, not eating her favorite worm snack, and just been barely standing or sitting under a shady part of the garden. Wattle and comb color, eyes, feathers all look good. Poop is white/yellowish/watery.
Trying to give her yogurt and probiotics water...
