I just got two cockerels and a hen. If Im going to breed them, they should be bred to standard as much as possible. I do plan on making crosses as well, but I’d like to keep a pure line also.

Thank you :) Although, reading up on the Spanish, I’m not sure they are actually all that similar. Barbezieux are a meat breed and the Spanish an egg layer. Also, the Barbezieux only has a white earlobe, not an entirely white face.
