    I can't think that is was bacterial growth.She had just laid the eggs,,they were still warm..How do you fix pourous eggs ?Feed the chickens differently ?

    I've candled eggs before.But with these eggs , when I candle them the inside of the egg is very splotchy..You can't tell from the outside..I also do not think that any of the 3 eggs are going to hatch but so hard to tell with all the splotching..

    One newly hatched chick,no momma chicken..Less than 24 hours old .He chirps till I pick him up then he falls asleep..Is it worse to hold him so he sleeps well or let him chirp in the box and sleep in between chirps ?? It feels so mean to ignore him .

    only one egg hatched..How do I keep her alive ? I know that chicks do better in groups.The egg is from an incubator and I own female chickens , but it is so hot outside (90's to 100's ).I'm afraid to put it out side.Plus i'm not sure if the female (or male) will accept it. Can I raise her alone ?

    I'm looking for an incubator that is fool proof. I have bantam chickens who are laying ,but because of the wet , hot weather aren't doing too well . I don't have alot of money, but I DO NOT want experience many more egg hatching failures like the last one (lost all 13 eggs.). Some hatched...
