    Ed, the VERY naughty pony!

Welsummer I could not have said it any better. I have ridden and owned horses all of my 50 yrs of life. I do not see anything funny or entertaining in this video either. This is sad because this is why the ponies get a bad rap, they are spoiled. So I say no not Ed the naughty pony, naughty...

When do you put injured bird back

Thanks for answering Lori. Wow this is a hard crowd to be heard in. I felt the same and after doctoring her behind I put on the "no-pick" paste and put her out with the others. So far it is going well, will watch her off and on throughout the day.

When do you put injured bird back

My hen is doing so much better that was injured earlier this week. She has been in a dog crate in the coop all week and of course not happy. I have treated it daily and she still has a wound and bald spots. It no longer looks raw and she is eating, drinking and pooping fine. My question is...

    Vetericyn

Well this morning I got up to lots of noise in the back yard, one of the EE pullets had gotten out and the dogs had her cornered. BAD DOGS they tore up her tail end pretty good. I got on here first thing after getting everyone put in a secure place to see what to put on the wound. After...

Anyone else have a vacation scheduled on the Gulf?

Quote: Absolutly correct! Here in Texas we are clear at this point (praise the Lord) I believe most of the mess on the shores is LA and MS. I have heard from friends that the fish (sharks as well) are a bit more plentiful because of the spill. I would take my vacation in AZ if I had any...

jojo@rolling acres farm : Good Luck - and for what its worth - it says a lot about you that you are even concerned about buyer #1. Sadly, most people would not give it a second thought. I commend you for your concern. Enjoy your goats. well said. Just be honest with the first seller and go...

    We're getting a cow!!!

Congratulations Katy is correct, the cream will separate and rise to the top after sitting a bit. I had a cow many many years ago, when it was not so common to have a family cow. I sure do miss it and have been considering getting a couple of goats. It takes a lot of dedication but it is so...

totally off topic but so cute

I saw this before as well and had the same concerns as the earlier post. When I first saw the video I honestly thought it was our neighbors house. They have an "orphaned" buck, black lab, and a newly built rock house (strange huh?) The little guy now walks up and down the street visiting and...

    shade cloth question

I have always used the black shade cloth on my dog runs and it is not to dark at all IMO. That is what I am planning on doing on my run this weekend, cover with wire and then shade cloth.

    How close is to close?

After realizing that my skills in building are very limited and my husbands as well (and the time involved), I have half decided to convert one of our out buildings to the chicken coop. They are in there now, just not the entire floor space as they are only 3 weeks old. One concern I have is...
