    A Couple of Duck questions

    One of my muscovy ducks has just started building a nest the question is can i move the nest to another location or will the duck lose interest. Second question do ducks prefer to use steps or a ramp to get into a raised shelter but it's not very high of the ground. Thanks.

    Thanks I'll give it a try to tonight. Should i cover the ducks head to calm it down or just in the pitch black with not light?

    Here's my first duckling to hatch is the yellow gooey bit in the pic ok? here's a second pic there's thin cord attached and it dragging the shell around with it is this normal? I have successfully put three duckling under my broody duck with no problems yet. Best pic my duck is a biter:D

    I had a Muscovy duck that has laid it's clutch of eggs and gone broody when is the best time of day to to replace those eggs with fertile eggs? Is it at night or does it not matter i had incubated eggs before but never used a broody bird. Thanks for any help
