    I am so glad that the heat is over!!! I spent the whole weekend camping in Silverton! Thought for sure that I was going to melt. However, it's a wonderful treat to come home and get this super fantastic, and much needed rain!! Hope ya'll are enjoying the weather as much as I am. Tipchick

    hi Homegroanacres, I don't incubate any at this time. My daughters class has decided that if they incubate eggs in the future though, that I'll get all the chicks. LOL That's about as close as I am right now to incubating.

    Hi all!!! I'm just south of Salem by about 6 miles! Right now I have 5 hens. 2 RIR, 2 Barred Rock, 1 arcana (spelling).. a Brama Rooster, 8 cornish cross meat birds, .. then I have the babies... 2 buff oprhingtons, 2 black sex link, 2 more barred rock, and 1 more RIR. And more on the way...
