HappyHens,,,do you use leg size to help determine gender? I have several 2 wk old chicks that I'm trying to figure out. Some have legs that are much larger than others. And some have a much larger body size in general. Of course there is some Jersey Giant mixed in with this flock so maybe...
Most seem in agreement that #6 is a roo which would have been my guess.

Just build your brooder big enough. I started small and had to rebuild in two weeks becuase I could tell my initial seup was not going to be big enough.

I've never seen a blue rock. Of course I'm new to this and don't know much. I have a chick that looks alot like this except no white. Just all blueish.
