Does this wet eye look like mycoplasma?

If it is MG that bird will always have it. Even when dormant- they can affect other birds. If that hen has chicks she passes to the, and then they will also be carriers...

😔 Anyone w/ mycoplasma gallisepticum experiences?

Thank you for the quick response and information. Thankfully I have had them quarantined in a separate coop so they have not had access to the other birds on the property. Breaks my heart though. I’ve already spoke with Cornell , re- necropsy. I agree that it was probably dormant MG. I will...

Open gash in back of comb- ( infection photo)

The wound is about 1.5 inches in length and it’s pretty open- it’s hard to get a good photo of it. I really like the penicillin idea, thank you! I tried a hydrogen peroxide and Betadine neither worked also tried Vetercyin.

She is eating and drinking- active. I have a “Hatching Time” brooder- it’s heated with plenty of space for her to move towards or away from heat. I mill their food. But I will try some wet food. Definitely will do coconut oil. Thanks for the advice. I hope she will be ok. She’s a week old...
