    I do believe he is a RIR from having a look at other pics! My girls are like ' he's sooo handsome... hang on he's near the food, peck him lol!!'As far as I can tell the charity that gave me him is still trying to catch them, will check in and see how they're getting on! :(

    Thanks! Will try and get a better pic! He's lovely has been well cared for but it turns out he was dumped with at least two others :( he doesn't seem very old either!

    Your so right, I was watching him this morning and he was trying to mate. They're hens (chicken) think he's been trying it on with the rabbit too lol! Keeping them separate and they're all alot happier, although it is a real pain! :(

    Noooo! My humidity reader doesn't seem to be working! I'm on day 10, the last 'reading' I have is at 35% but don't know if it has actually been at that! Have ordered another one but is there anything I can do in the meantime? They're Pekin eggs :(

    Ok the short version! I've bought an incubator,put 4 Pekin eggs in, I'm also leaving eggs in the nest to see what happens! I'm on day 6,tried candling, the air sacs seem to be going the right way but can only see a dark area in two of the eggs, nothing like the detail on the charts. Wondering if...

    Getting ready to start.

    Getting into a routine with this checked, turning, spraying malarkey don't know what I'll do with myself once I've finished lol! Not convinced I've got any ducklings, just can't imagine them coming out of an egg. Nature is amazing! Still early days so I will just have to be patient! :)

    Yes think it will be a miracle if she decides to hatch them! One of the hens laid an egg in with hers lol think one of them might go broody! They seem fine with the checks so I'll see how it goes, and be more subtle if I have to! Thanks, only 5 eggs at the minute!
