Hey guys I've taken this rooster in (he was dumped a few days ago ) and I was wondering what breed he is! Thanks

Looks like a fine Rhode Island Red roo to me!

The picture is too dark to tell for sure, but he could be an RIR. We'll need a better picture though.

Thanks! Will try and get a better pic! He's lovely has been well cared for but it turns out he was dumped with at least two others he doesn't seem very old either!

People that dump animals are the worst.
He does not look very old, I agree.
The people that dumped all those roos probably bought straight run RIR's and got rid of the roos once they started to crow, fight and be BOYS!
What happened to the other roos?

I do believe he is a RIR from having a look at other pics! My girls are like ' he's sooo handsome... hang on he's near the food, peck him lol!!'As far as I can tell the charity that gave me him is still trying to catch them, will check in and see how they're getting on!
