    Chicks in the heat?

    We have gotten some pretty good heat in Pennsylvania the last few days. I put the brooder setup in a corner of my garage that wasn't exposed to any long periods of sunlight. I also had to set up the heat lamp a little higher than what I originally measured. I kept a close eye on the chicks...

    Thank you! I was pretty nervous, turns out they shipped from Mansfield, OH - which is only a couple hours from Pittsburgh. With the high temps the last few days up here , I honestly didn't know what to expect and feared the worst. They were extremely lively right out of the box!
