Would a respiratory issue look like panting? I have one, the disheveled one I mentioned that is panting, sometimes, like when it’s hot. It isn’t hot enough for that, and none of the others are doing it. The whole flock, except for one, went to roost early tonight which seems strange.

We found this when we examined her. It looks like the inside membrane from an egg. We did not feel anything when we checked inside her vent and her behind did not have any masses.
We feed feather fixer and they have oyster shell available at all times. They free range a couple hours each...
I am going to examine her tonight, but does her stance indicate anything? She has some fecal caking and is standing still a lot and staying away from the others. She didn’t come out to free range very much. Her eyes look kind of tired. She is a year old. I can’t say the last time she laid an egg.
We haven’t added anyone new or dealt with illness in anyone else. She is the only one having issues so far. Thank you. I will look for mites/lice more closely.
