No one can compare heritage (I am not meaning Tractor Supply, Cackles, etc) Anconas with heritage Leghorns, from breeders maintaining the original birds the best they can?
Am I relegated to Tractor Supply, then?
(Their purported Old English Game, and any other seller who started with such would have no or little better.)
Since no one has suggested a breeder, I'd try Greenfire, but their max is two chicks.
Really there are none in the US worth recommending...

Thing is with eBay eggs, unless the seller posts more information than they usually do, for all I know the parent birds were from a mass hatchery with 30 or more generations of hatchery breeding, that on top of that might never have been the actual breed anyway, and if...
