    Someone else had suggested that one that we thought was a Welsummer or Ameraucana may be a cream crested legbar, and I'm beginning to think that may be exactly the case!

    Thanks for the welcome! Here are our birds and our dog. Birds (clockwise from top left): Smoky, Freckles, Lorp, Rhonda, and Chippy. Our pup's name is Peanut - or Mr. Peanut if you're feeling formal.

    Yeah, that was my hesitation. I'd hate to have to lose her(?) because that coloration is so beautiful. Guess we'll have to wait and see. As my wife put it, "Until one of them cock-a-doodles-doo, we'll assume none are roos!"

    Thankfully (and surprisingly!) it's a free application and license. Just a little bit of a hassle to make sure you get it done. I appreciate that they want to make sure people aren't stuffing dozens of birds into a tiny coop, but I think they could probably provide more/easier to access guidance...
