Hello and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
Okay. You got me. What's a morkie? A Yorkie and a ....??
Who passed the coop inspection, Code Enforcement or the chickens?
A morkie is a Maltese/Yorkie mix. They're generally little purse dogs (my wife's aunt places dogs for people in apartments), but our boy is a bit of an outlier at 17 lbs. Not overweight, just as if someone scaled him up to a bigger, proportional size.
The inspection here is by the county health department. It's basically just a quick check to make sure your coop is big enough for the number of chickens you have/want, and to provide some other suggestions on coop improvements if needed. The guy from the department literally just measured two sides and said, "OK, you're good."
Once you pass inspection, you get a license for the birds, similar to any other pet licensing, though it needs to be renewed yearly.
